Casting Process Freestanding and Records

On Tuesday April 27 will continue to work in casting. We have many opportunities to address discharge: 1. Work space with rods cube 2. Poli or styrofoam
3. 2D grid reformulation.
(found in photocopiers)
4. Plaster of Paris.

+ IMPORTANT TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS Cast:
-Have
Warning: can ruin all the work).

cast parts + 1 parts cold water allow a good setting
(Hardening)

-The plaster should be sprinkled.


-The setting takes at least 24 hours.
-The plaster does not adhere to plastic surfaces, but it's porous. Therefore, we must
isolate all surfaces in contact with the plaster before pouring

-Remove air with small taps on a hard surface.

-Seal it with a lot of pressure

(may use adhesive tape, rubber bands, etc.)..

Poli: - The hub must present the appearance of a solid. This means there should be no traces of the pieces that comprise it. To avoid roughness, joints or imperfections on the surface, it should hardened, sanded and painted.

Once you have the cast, reformulations may make this grid.
